Ok, the spring sucker run is starting and this issue came up in another thread... is there a way to get a definitive answer from those in the know, can you shoot sucker with a bow during the general closure? And if not, why? It's one of the two species of fish for which bowfishing is allowed, and generally the only time of year they are available for this activity... and how about other methods? It's quite clear that you can take as many suckers as you want by net, and if that's the case, why not angling or bowfishing or any other legal method?
