Although I practically live on LOTW now and I used to spend alot of time in Nopiming and loved the lakes there. I had many memorable days on Tooth, Quesnal, Booster, Summerhill, Garner, Shoe, Bird and Black Lakes. They were easy to fish, did not need elaborate equipment, and never were really busy (compared to LOTW).

Dauphin Lake because that's the one I grew up on. Fishing mostly sucks on the East side, but it can be very good. Always too busy visiting to head West when back there.

Lake Winnipeg :fish: or :ice:
Trophy Drum
Trophy Goldeye
Trophy Pike
Trophy Walleye (in big numbers)
... some times trophy Catfish
... the occasional Sturgeon (not that I've landed one)
Trophy White Bass (in big numbers)
Trophy Perch

Winter or Summer you can have a blast, and if you don't like the crowds ... you've got hundreds of square miles to explore.

My top two favourites aren't lakes (the Red and La Salle), and the ones that are lakes I try not to talk about on a public forum! ;)
