Heading up the Pas April 10 (2015) We usually go this time of year and fish on the Sask. River for walleye by Kelsey lake. I hear we will not be able to do that this year. Just wondering about what other lakes are good and best access and good fishing spots, ice conditions, and what we should bring.....snowmobiles or quads, any help will be greatly appreciated. We will probably fish in the bill bannock derby on Clear water one day. Rocky lake, Cormorant or any other lakes nearby looking for info. Thanks

just had a group of buddies who were on clearwater and just got back on friday....and quads are the way to go....have a other group of buddies who are on reed this easter long wknd and they also took quads....there is little to no snow on those lakes ...they are currently at the wet stage...but with this cold weather they will tighten up...next it will be down to the bark....then the ice will lift....no worries on ice conditions.....there is a bit of snow happening last night and today up there...but not enough to make much difference...

Just got off Clearwater, enough snow to use sleds. We got a pretty good dump this week, before that it was straight ice. Quads will work, lots of trucks out as well. There are a couple pressure ridges that you will have to work around, but the ice is still good. It is going to warm up by the end of this week, so not sure how long this snow will last.

X2,
We accessed the lake from Sunset Beach by truck and were able to drive around without any problems what so ever. Crossed the pressure ridge on the south end and had access to the whole lake. Going to be messy next weekend for the tournament.
Marked a lot but had problems getting them to commit until later in the afternoon in deeper water. Landed 7, lost as many at the hole.

Didn't see that. Did see 2 trucks drop their front ends on the ridge. Both were pulled out though

We went to simonhouse lake. 26 inches of ice. Caught lots of walleye. 5 over 55cm. Used quads. Snow was gone by sat. Water was disappearing of ice..... running into cracks.
