I am going to be in Sioux narrows for a week in early august.... I have never caught a lake trout, and would love to try and catch one. Any tips or techniques would be greatly appreciated.

Well no luck with the lake trout, but we did get a great opportunity to roam around on lake of the woods White fish bay all the way to Timber island ...WOW God's country..!!! We caught nice walleye...no big ones, and my son caught a nice big Pike !!
