Rocky Lake Smallies

1389 Views 8 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  Dwildwil
Hi All,
A crew of us are headed us to Rocky Lake on Monday for the week. We usually target walleye and pike in Northern lakes, but we are looking for a new challenge with smallies.
Any tackle tips/tricks or fishing locations would be super appreciated. I have read some things about Ghost Island but those are from old forums.

Thanks in advance, and happy fishing!

Uncut does a very good video on them. Winter time but should give you a starting point.

eh try to stay away from anything he puts out. Not the greatest of content
He's a better fisherman than me, so can always learn something. But to each their own.

Having run into Clayton a few times, I can attest that he's a pretty great guy and is very knowledgable. Out of all the local YouTubers, I feel like he spends the most time interacting with his fanbase.

I will admit his videos are not the most exciting though compared to Jay or Aaron. Though I will say they are worth watching if you need to look for advice.

I think being as entertaining as Jay and Aaron is a tall task few fisherman could actually pull off, I mainly watch Claytons vids for learning and due to the fact I'm a fishing addict. Fishing aside all 3 seem like great guys.

Feels like his videos are taking a step back as far a quality goes.
There is nothing wrong with Clayton’s videos and most of Aaron’s videos used to be good.
