Went out to Reynolds ponds today to try and catch some bass. My wife was working so I was only fishing from the shore. I managed to catch 21 rock bass, most we’re in the 7-8 inch length. I caught 3 Rock bass on the Rebel Crickhopper and the rest on a bobber with a jig and minnow. I did catch 2 Large Mouth bass on a chartreuse spinner bait, one on the Rebel Crickhopper and one on the bobber with jig and minnow. I also caught two Small Mouth bass on the jig and minnow. All the bass were small, with one of the Small Mouth bass the largest at 10-12 inches. It was a fun day. I want to take the canoe next time and get into the centre of the pond with my fish finder and see what’s there.

I've heard before the "Lafarge Pit" has quite a few rockies, but you were catching them there in the other ponds? just curious, thanks.

I have only been there twice, so not familiar with all the ponds. Yes, I was at the first pond coming from the Trans Canada highway, which I have seen called the Lafarge pit. Last year I tried one of the smaller ponds with no success.
