Fished the Red again Saturday with a couple of buds.
Was slower than thursday had to move to find them.
Managed only 3 keeper walleyes and another ton of sauger.
Talk to a few American anglers pullin cranks one group had landed a 31 incher huge fish.
Others same results 1 or 2 here and there.
Current was moving good, temps are dropping 52F most spots.
Great to see ! Witnessed a few large walleye releases nice to see way to go!
Seems like the Red River is still out producing Pinefalls.

could have been 4 keepers if our net guy would have been on the ball,.....lol, oh wait didn't he say it was the fisherman that couldn't direct the fish to the net? I'm confused now......either way it was an awesome day on the water with a good friend

Did ok with my brother today.....
We fished the Red, went to miracle and caught a couple eyes and a ton of sauger....then went to the golf course where I landed a 24" 6.6pound beauty!
Then we hit sugar island...DEAD. And finished off at our final destination where we caught another green and a few more saugs!
Final tally my brother with 7 saugs and a goldeye
me with 14 saugs, 4 greens and a goldeye!
Windy as heck but was worth it!

Another great day on Red (Friday).
Gulp Alive seems to be minnow of choice.
Selkirk south to Lockport was not as good as Netly and the cut to the marsh the bite was on .
Selkirk park was full and no charge.
Late start to day but headin out now.

No charge ... must have snuck in.
We were there at 6:50 a.m. and they took my $5.
We got our limit with the biggest at 22".
Lots of Sauger (some looked like Walleye when 1st pulled from the water :? )
Bullet of choice ... Orange Whistler 3/8 oz jig tipped with PineView Salty.
