Does anyone know if any of the trout lakes around roblin area will have open water but the weekend? I was thinking about twin, Patterson, beautiful or any of the the duck mountains lakes? Would be either from a small boat or from shore.

I fished Beautiful last week.Needed the extension to get thru ice so I doubt Duck Mtn lakes will be open. I plan to ice fish there again this weekend.Lots of snow in the bush too. No idea on lakes at lower elevations.

Dang, thanks for the info. Ice gear is too buried to get at now, looks like another change of plans. Let me know how you make out this weekend and what the conditions are like

No fishing this weekend. Washout on 367 east of Blue Lake, washout on 366 north and south of Blue Lake.
Shell valley still open but don't want to risk being trapped at Beautiful lol

It was inevitable. The Shell River is flooding the road.
The trout in the Ducks will be safe til the ice is off.
