at nearly $20 a pop I'm curious if these are catching more fish for guys than the originals or if its just all hype and marketing?

Fished beside one a couple weeks ago and again on boxing day... Both times the rippin rap out fished it... Bait ball was tipped with live, rippin rap was tipped with a saltie head, or bare, and out performed both ways... But thats not really apples to apples because the Rippin rap fishes totally different than a LT... I guess the closest head to head would be with a normal LT???

Seeing as I'm in here now... I've used that one. Yes I've caught ok with it. But it's not worth the money IMO.

I picked up 3 white and silver LT with a rattler at Canadian tire for $5 a piece. Those things kick a$$ when used correctly.

Yes, it can scare the fish away in a hurry if you jig to aggressive at the wrong time.

It is quite possible that this was the last sucker that lure will ever catch...

just so all know I have seen a bunch of masters caught on the baitballs, buy have also seen a lot of masters caught on other lures, good to have a couple in the box as everything has its day on the water.
