I have been strictly a July/August fisherman for the past 20 years on LOTW. Have always done well fishing points and sunken mid-lake reefs.

Due to work turmoil, I am down for a couple of weeks starting May 30th. I fish down south of the barrier and have picked up a few on some rocky points, but everything seems scattered.

Can anyone point me in a general direction for fishing during this season? Should I be looking a shallow bays or am I ok trolling flats near shorelines and focussing on points?

Try shallower; try sand; try weeds if you can find any; try current; try shallow humps ie: 5-12 feet. Let me know how it goes!
