Hello, new to the Manitoba fishing forum. I have a question. If anyone can answer would be appreciative.

There's a river running though the eastside of sandilands. Does anyone know what river that is? Where it runs into? Has anyone tried fishing it or is it fishable?

From the looks of it, I would say it could be the Whitemouth or the Birch. It would help to say where exactly this picture was taken from. Near what town?

That would be the Whitemouth River then. Beautiful country! I used to fish it years ago and did very well for Walleye and big Pike in softwater season but I haven't been there for many years. With the shallow water and recent winterkills at Whitemouth Lake, I suspect that there wouldn't be much worth catching, especially for hard water. The river eventually flows into the Winnipeg River at Seven Sisters.
