Tried out Hunt for the first time with the old man. Fished from 9:00 till 2:00;ice was a foot thick. We moved around a bit and found a school of perch; caught a bunch (25-30? I lost count). Iced one small brookie. We were surprised how quickly the depth dropped off. Are there any shallow flats on Hunt? I'm guessing that's were the trout are.

It's not a big lake bud.............move around and drill a few holes next outing ;)A couple of people who fished here recently with some success just fished near the dock area.

Was at Lyons Tuesday, caught 2 splake and a rainbow about the size of the fish you're holding. Marked and got bumped by about 4 others. Beautiful day and BBQ'd cheddar smokies with toasted buns on portable BBQ. Fished 6-20 FOW in a bunch of different holes with different baits. Good first outing to pull tent/heater/auger/Bird/ice fishing gear out of mothballs and give it a run for the day.

nice...we tried 6-25 ft too. All the fish were out deep including the one brookie. The perch kept us entertained.

Fish really shallow for those things; shallow as in 2-5' of water. There's a nice reef/rocky flat directly across the lake on the opposite shore from the launch where they seem to hang out on.
