Here's what you need to figure any lp tank operating time:
98,000 BTU's per gallon of propane.
LP weighs 4.24 pounds per gallon.
Therefore, a 5 pound cylinder will hold approximately 1.25 gallons of propane.
1.25 times 98,000 equals 122,500 btu's.
Divide 122,500 by the btu/hour rating of your heater, and that'll tell you how many hours the tank will last.
