They weren't too bad. I have a vague memory of eating them and as I recall the alternate choice to Bullheads were onion sandwiches. I do believe there also may have been some alcohol abuse too.
I would have thought you would fillet them the same as a burbot. At least I would, by taking the back straps only. Never fished for any cats so what do I know lol.

I've eaten them before, they're like a mini catfish. Though getting stabbed by their fins is something I don't like to think about. I have nothing against eating them if someone prepared them for me.
