Looks like there are/were walleye in the lake. The last master angler was caught in 2016, but that doesn't mean there aren't any under 28".

trouter2 I have a very old report done by the Province that did lake surveys S of RMNP. It reports Ditch Lake having pike and yellow perch. I notes a maximum depth of 25' . Looking at stocking data it shows pike and perch were stocked back in the 1950's/60's and walleyes more recently.

keithv Welcome aboard!

A quick check of the Manitoba Stocking list shows Ditch Lake has been stocked with Walleye over the past years. Other than that, I have nothing to add.

Ditch Lake near RMNP

Hello Everyone,

My wife and I have just purchased a property on Ditch Lake near Riding Mountain. I hadnít even thought of fishing until now! Anyone have any idea what might be lurking beneath the surface? Not from around here so the prospect of species I donít normally get to fish for is rather exciting although a good Pike, Walleye, even Perch would be very welcome! I am able to shore fish as well as kayak.
Any info that one would like to share would be most welcome!
