660catman Never dealt with any of the mentioned service departments. Have only dealt with Yetmanís for Eskimo parts and Cummins for Briggs parts. I do all my own service work so Iím good.

My outfit
2009 Crestliner 1700 Fish Hawk, 90 4s Merc, Minn Kota 24v PD V2 AP CP US2 hauled on a Shorelandír. Humminbird 788CI on the back and a 570 up front

Jay73 Ive dealt with them a few times. I was always treated well and the work that was done was good. More places could learn from ABC Power Tool on customer service. To bad they didnít service the main stream brands of augers.

Now Cummings Small Engine on the other hand.........

abousetta Yes, read that on FB as well. Commenters weren't exactly crying over the close of Yetman's service department either. Seems a lot of unhappy customers. Personally, never dealt with them so can't say if I agree or not with the comments. Just good to know that other shops can fill the gap.

FYI Small Engine Repair

FYI Yetman's does not have a service department. I contacted them and was told its service department is shut down permanently.

Needed some warranty parts and work done on an ice auger.
Called Yetman's, they have some parts, but have closed their service department, so no warranty work can be done with them now. They will refer you to other Eskimo dealers; however they were of no help to me. In my case the replacement of propane regulator on an Eskimo auger, ($75.00 as it comes assembled with a hose and valve), which is like a 5 minute task to change out.

Called Mitchell Small Engine repair, within 1/2 hour he had contacted the manufacturer with a copy of my proof of purchase, and serial # off unit.
Part is on its way warranty covered!

Also it helps if you register your unit with the manufacturer after purchase.
