Hey there, first off thanks and yes it was a really good year all around. I would have no problems at all taking you out and putting you on some fish, we could work something out for sure. I do have a registered business called green eyes guiding so I am legally allowed to guide people who have their own gear, the only one allowed service I would be providing is putting you on the fish. I did apply last year for my outfitting license and after paying the $150 and registration fees. I was sent a letter telling me there is a moratorium currently on that area and they are not allowing any more outfitters due to the decrease in population of walleye. So essentially if someone doesn't have the gear I would need to guide through another licensed outfitter which I also have permission and work under a licensed outfitter.
Just give me some notice and will make it work thanks
Really impressive year you had on the ice. A lot of folks on here talk the talk,,,but you walk the walk. I live in Thompson but if I ever get a plan together next year to head south for a chance at some greenback action on LW, was wondering if it would be okay to shoot you a pm and figure out a way to compensate you for a guided day. I recall on here people jumping on you previously for suggesting you would guide. I'm not looking for paperwork,,,just a guy who knows where the action is. And I would add that I'm not a newb looking for his first outing on the ice. I'm a hardcore angler with all the necessary gear including sleds, quads, flashers etc. and would be willing to pay a fair dollar for a day on the ice. All the best for a great open water season!
