What kind of fillet knifes are you guys using? I think mine has bit the dust and it's time to invest in a good one

Get a Cutco one and you’ll never look at another one again. I bought mine at the home show about 4 years ago and have not sharpened it yet. You actually send them away for free sharpening. There is a local rep in Lorette I can probably look up his info for you.

Blade extends from 6” to 9” also

I buy a bunch of the Cuda ones when they go on sale at Cabelas (https://www.cabelas.ca/product/10614...knife-w-sheath). They were $6 I think a couple days ago. Also the place opposite of Sobeys Cash and Carry used to have a lot of Shimano ones for about the same price. Because they're cheap, I keep a couple in the boat, in the sled box, in the kitchen, etc.

I just bought a Ken Onion sharpener so I'll try sharpening my own knives moving forward.
