Well that kinda sucks hey? How much of a drive was it for you?
Did you just try the white?
Sometimes your better to stick to where you know you'll catch..(LP)
Where do you think he went after seven sisters? I would go to LP if I was closer all the time, cause I know I won't get skunked. I try to go couple times a year. Just my opinion
My thoughts on lp are unless it's really slow and you have no idea how to fish for what your going for, it's usually great, even fantastic. It's just going elsewhere is a nice change in scenery.
LP is great, but it's a fishery so it is somewhat expected. Trying say the Winnipeg river, or any of the lakes from shore in MB and doing well is an accomplishment. I was at falcon lake and watched as people from boat were doing great while those of us from shore were having quite the struggle.
Got two pike on a Sunday - 28" on quickstrike rig/herring and 24" on 1/2 oz yellow bucktail spinner. I'm no expert but the water is too warm I think. Will try again in three weeks or so.
There's some at Peeler lake near Brothel falls. It's NESW of Grand Rapids.
Pectoralis puts on a good show with some gulp alive, not sure how many she can hide.
Nightcrawler Nancy will wow you with a bait caster.
Berkley Fry is the best. She does this thing with a pickeral rig I can't explain on here!
Admission is a walleye fillet and you can tip the dancers with tackle.
Tough crowd.. That was my response to walleye trackers "what lake has strippers"... I guess I should've quoted his post
